The Prairie Hills Golf & Ski Club golf course first opened for play in 1982 when the first nine holes were completed. In 1996 the back nine opened for play. The course was designed by John and Mike Weber.
The back nine plays a bit tighter and requires good shotmaking skills. There is no water coming into play on the back nine, but it does come into play a few times on the front nine. The greens are large, the fairways hilly and every hole is well bunkered. Weather permitting, the course is open year round.
The Prairie Hills golf course measures 6,277 from the backt tees and plays to a par of 71. The course rating is 70.1 and the slope rating is116.
